The Netball Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) at Tanjong Katong Primary School provides girls with opportunities to learn and enjoy the sport of netball in a fun and engaging environment. Through structured training, students develop fundamental netball skills, an understanding of game strategies, and the importance of teamwork.
The programme also supports the development of physical fitness, coordination, and sportsmanship, while fostering confidence, resilience, and cooperation. Guided by dedicated coaches and teachers, students are encouraged to grow as responsible team players and demonstrate positive values both on and off the court.
Objectives

To develop students to learn the skills and techniques used in Netball.

To develop students to learn mental and physical techniques to prepare them for trainings and competitions.

To encourage students to foster a positive relationship with their peers and values of sportsmanship through sports.
CCA Schedule / Venue:
School Team Training:
Junior Girls
Monday: 2 – 4pm
Thursday: 2 – 4pm
Senior Girls
Monday: 3 – 5pm
Thursday: 3 – 5pm

Non-School Team Training:
Primary 3 & 4
Monday: 2 – 4pm
Venue: ISH (Report at the Parade Square)
**Do take note that on days where training starts at 3pm, pupils who will still report to the teacher in charge at 2pm. These pupils will finish their schoolwork and assist the teachers and coaches with the 2pm session wherever possible until their training session begins.
