The International Dance (Hip Hop) Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) at Tanjong Katong Primary School provides students with opportunities to express themselves through dynamic and creative movement. Through exposure to various Hip Hop dance styles, students develop rhythm, coordination, and confidence in performance.

The programme emphasises teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, guiding students to work collaboratively while striving for excellence. Through regular training and performance opportunities, students build stage presence and self-confidence, while learning to express creativity and individuality through dance.

The International Dance (Hip Hop) CCA nurtures students to become confident performers and well-rounded individuals who demonstrate commitment and passion for the performing arts.

Objectives

1. Equip students with fundamental Hip Hop techniques, rhythm, coordination, and stage presence.

2. Encourage students to explore movement as a form of personal and artistic expression through choreography and improvisation.

3. Build students’ character through regular practice, collaboration, and commitment to group performances.

CCA Schedule / Venue:

Primary 3 to 6

Thursday: 2 – 4pm

Venue: Music Rooms

**Do take note that there might be practice sessions assigned on other days of the week on an ad-hoc basis to prepare the students for event/competition performances.
