The Choir Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) at Tanjong Katong Primary School brings together students who share a love for singing and music-making. Through regular practices, members are guided to develop their vocal techniques, musical awareness, and confidence in choral performance under the guidance of dedicated instructors.

The choir explores a diverse repertoire that spans classical and contemporary music, including songs performed in various languages. Through ensemble singing, students learn to listen attentively, blend their voices, and work collaboratively as a unified group.

Participation in performances provides students with valuable opportunities to showcase their talents, build stage confidence, and share the joy of music with the school and wider community. Through these experiences, the Choir CCA aims to nurture confident performers and well-rounded individuals with a strong appreciation for the performing arts.

Objectives:

1. To nurture and develop vocal and choral singing techniques

2. To inculcate values of teamwork, discipline and perseverance

CCA Schedule / Venue:

Primary 3 to 6

Monday: 2 – 4pm

Venue: Dance Studio & Teaching Lab

**Do take note that there might be practice sessions assigned on other days of the week on an ad-hoc basis to prepare the students for event/competition performances.
