The Art Club Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) at Tanjong Katong Primary School provides students with a supportive space to explore their creativity, hone artistic skills, and develop confidence through the art-making process. Students work alongside peers from different age groups, fostering friendships, collaboration, and mutual learning.

Through hands-on exploration of various art forms and techniques, students are encouraged to experiment, express their ideas, and refine their artistic abilities. The programme emphasises creativity, perseverance, and self-expression, helping students build self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment through their artwork.

Guided by dedicated teachers and instructors, the Art Club nurtures imaginative thinkers and confident learners who appreciate the creative process and enjoy learning through artistic exploration.

Objectives

1. To develop students’ skills and creativity through a range of activities.

2. To develop increasing confidence in the use of visual and tactile elements and materials.

3. To create a positive environment and foster an enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts.

Primary 3 to 6

Thursday: 2 – 4pm
