Vision

A community of critical thinkers and creative problem solvers.

Mission

To provide quality and varied Mathematics programmes to engage the pupils in the learning of Mathematics for real-life application.

Mathematics Framework

Curriculum Outcomes

  1. To acquire mathematical concepts and skills for everyday use and continuous learning in mathematics.
  2. To develop thinking, reasoning, communication, application and metacognitive skills through a mathematical approach to problem-solving.
  3. To build confidence and foster interest in mathematics.

Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract Approach

  1. Concrete components include manipulatives, measuring tools, or other objects the students can handle during the lesson.
  2. Pictorial representations include drawings, diagrams, charts, or graphs that are drawn by the students or are provided for the students to read and interpret.
  3. Abstract refers to symbolic representations such as numbers or letters that the student writes or interprets to demonstrate understanding of a task

Key Strategies & Programmes

We aim to equip the pupils with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, skills, thinking process and metacognition through a rigorous instructional programme, experiential learning and a balanced assessment system.
